Terms of Sale

The short version: you choose a moment, we compute the real night sky for it and generate your map. Here is exactly what you buy and how it reaches you.

What you are buying

• Digital download — a star map of your chosen date, time and place, generated on demand and delivered as a high-resolution PNG plus a scalable SVG file. It is not a physical item; nothing is shipped.
• Framed print — the same map, printed at 300dpi on matte art stock, framed and made to order. It includes the digital files as well.

Star and planet positions are computed from NASA JPL ephemeris data for your exact date, time and coordinates. See the reference test on the home page for how that accuracy is verified.

Licence

Your map is yours for personal use — print it, frame it, give it as a gift. You may not resell the file or use it commercially, and please do not redistribute the digital files as your own.

Delivery

• The digital download is generated the moment payment completes. You land on a page with your files and also receive an email with them attached; the download link stays valid for 72 hours after purchase.
• The framed print is made and framed by hand, so allow a few days before it ships. You get the digital files immediately, so you have something the same day.

Where we ship

Framed prints ship within Canada and the US. If you are outside that region, the digital download is available anywhere in the world and is the right choice for you — please don't order a print we cannot send.
